Core Drilling · Diamond Bits 20mm–1000mm

One Clean Cylinder. Every Time.

Hollow diamond bits drill round holes for pipes, cables, ducts, and drainage — the core comes out as one solid cylinder, the edges stay smooth, and the slab around it never cracks.

From Call To Handover, In Three Moves

1

Tell Us The Specs

What’s going through the hole, the diameter, slab thickness, and how many holes. We confirm bit size, a fixed per-core price, and a slot on the first call.

2

Scan, Mark, Drill

Structural concrete gets scanned for rebar and utilities first. The rig is anchored, water feed connected, and the bit runs at the speed matched to the concrete.

3

Extract & Sign Off

The core comes out intact where possible, slurry is vacuumed, and each hole is measured against spec with your team present before we pack up.

The Difference

A Hammer Drill Guesses. A Diamond Bit Doesn’t.

Hammer Drilled
Diamond Cored
Shock waves crack the slab, edges spall around the hole
Core extracted as one clean cylinder, edges stay smooth
Hidden cables and pipes get hit drilling blind
Scanned for rebar, conduits and pipes before the bit touches concrete
Wrong size or position — MEP contractor can’t install, re-drill needed
Marked against your drawing and confirmed with site engineer first
Ragged opening never seals properly against the sleeve
Smooth bore that seals directly against the pipe sleeve

Common Questions

What diameters can you core drill?

From small 20–50mm holes for single cables or pipes, up to 300mm+ shaft openings for HVAC ducting or risers. Tell us what’s going through and we’ll confirm the right bit diameter with clearance.

How long does one core hole take?

A single small-diameter hole through a standard slab usually takes 20–40 minutes including setup. Multiple holes on one visit are quoted as a set, not per-hour.

Do you scan before every core hole?

On any structural slab or wall, yes. For a small hole in a non-structural partition, scanning usually isn’t needed — we’ll tell you which applies to your job.

Can you drill at an angle?

Yes, rigs can be mounted at an angle to follow a pipe route through a wall. Tell us the angle required so we bring the right mounting frame.

Is core drilling noisy?

Diamond rigs are quieter than hammer drills but not silent, and wet drilling adds some water noise. For occupied buildings we schedule around tenant hours on request.
